Playing in the backyard

I have such adventures playing in my backyard, there is always soo much to be done. I had such a busy day on Friday moving rocks.. there are so many rocks to be moved in our yard.

 

I needed some assistance so I went and got my dolly, unfortunately she wasn’t as much help as I had hoped. I might have to give her a warning if her performance doesn’t improve. I’m sure Bev wouldn’t stand for such laziness. Then I had to move the bucket that the rocks go in, I even brought the bucket over to dolly…

Zoo

On the Saturday of the long weekend Mummy and I met up with Heather at the ZOO! The ZOO is where all the animals live. There are some really really cool animals at the zoo. I got to pat a deer.

I tried to pat a chicken and some pigeons but they kept running away. I don’t know why they ran away, it’s not like I smelled!

  

 I think I will make a good sheep dog when I grow up! I herded the pigeons right back to their home.

We saw lots and lots of birds, and then in this one place there were like peacocks and this male one was showing off, check him out behind me!

 

 

 

Next stop was the giraffe, he is soo tall and i am soo little, one day when I grow up I’m going to be as tall as a giraffe!

 

 

 

 

 

Then we found the wombats! Wombats look soo cuddly and i just wanted to get in there and give the wombat a big hug. Can you see the wombat? He does look a bit like a rock.

 

 

 

 

 

I’m nearly 16 (months) and Mummy said that when I’m 16 I can get my drivers licence, so I’ve been practising lots.. Here I am practising in the car at the zoo.

Daddy’s shoes

Daddy left his shoes lying around in the bathroom and I just had to try them on, it was quite difficult and I had to concentrate A LOT, that is why my tongue is poking out.

I am sooo good at climbing now. There are some many things to climb in our house. I love it!

Anyways I can now climb up the steps to the spa bath..

 

I still can’t work out how to get into the bath, but luckily Mummy is nearby and can help me climb in!

 

Such fun

Mummy and I were playing chasy the other day, and there is like this quilt near the laundry that is ready for a wash and it is really lots of fun to jump on. I was walking fast down the corridor and jumping onto the quilt, it was soo much fun, I was laughing lots and lots.

High Five

I learnt a new skill this week! wo ho! Am soo clever, I was just like patting mummy like I do the cat, she says I’m hitting her, but really I’m just patting.. anyways, she put her hand up so I could pat that and she called it a high five. We do high fives A LOT now.

We live in Australia

Nanna and Pa gave me a ball with the map of the world on it for my birthday, I used to just play with it like any other ball, but now I am actually looking at the map. Mummy has been showing me the country that we live in on the map and then she asked me to find it, first I pointed to Russia, Nope, then Africa, Nope and then finally I found it, AUSTRALIA!

Elephants are comfy to sit on

I love sitting on my toys especially the elephant, so much more interesting than just sitting on the carpet. It really is a good balancing challenge and I get to practise my reversing.

 

New Leggings

Check out my new leggings! Mummy is selling these at the market.. They are sooo comfy and v.cute! And YES there is a poodle on my bum!!

Washing basket

For once in our house there was no washing in the washing basket! I thought I would take advantage of this gap in the laundry and drag the washing basket into the lounge, climb in and bring all my toys in with me. It really is the most comfortable place to lie, really, honest….

  

Then I got up on the pink lounge, well Mummy actually helped me, but that doesn’t sound anywhere near as good. Lots of my teddies live on the pink lounge too, and here I am running towards them about to dive on the elephant!
